Our Work
Health
WHO defines “Health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” But unfortunately, we’re still far from implementing this definition of health at grassroots levels. Uneven distribution of healthcare infrastructure and medical professionals and lack of quality healthcare services have become obstacles, making healthcare delivery challenging in the country, especially to the weaker section.
A healthy life is not a privilege but a fundamental right. Every individual deserves access to clean air, nutritious food, and medical care, regardless of their circumstances. Health is the foundation upon which all other aspirations are built, and ensuring this right for everyone fosters a more just and equitable society. Embracing the right to health means advocating for systemic changes that remove barriers and create opportunities for every person to thrive. Health is essential as it impacts nearly every aspect of our lives. Good physical health enables us to perform daily tasks effectively, lowers disease risk, and can lead to a longer, more active life. It is closely linked to mental well-being.
What We Do
At RIESW, we believe that true empowerment comes from addressing both education and health. While we are dedicated to providing quality education, we also recognize the critical need for healthcare services. We are committed to extending our support to abandoned and marginalized communities, ensuring they have access to essential medical care alongside educational opportunities. By integrating healthcare with our educational initiatives, we aim to uplift and support every individual, fostering a more inclusive and resilient society.
